Sandy Springs presents Movies by Moonlight

Less than 10 minutes south of The Pointe at Canyon Ridge and only a right turn onto Mt Vernon Hwy NW brings you will find the lawn of the Sandy Springs United Methodist Church’s Hitson Activity Center. It is the site of the 2011 Movies by the Moonlight.

This September you can watch movies like RIO, Soul Surfer, and Secretariat. I haven’t seen RIO or Soul Surfer, but Secretariat was a great movie. I’ve seen it at least 3 times. Beginning September 9^th, viewing these movies is free on the lawn of the Sandy Springs United Methodist Church’s Hitson Activity Center.  Movies begin at dusk, but the family fun begins at 6 pm.

Bring your family, friends, lawn chairs, food, and drinks to this 45 foot screen event. If you forget your snacks, you can purchase pizza, popcorn and drinks at the event. Visit the All About Sandy Springs website for more details.
